30-Day Drawing Challenge: Days 10-13

Pati ba naman drawing, cinacram ko!!! (Very poor translation: Even in drawing, I still cram!)

So anyway, don’t complain, guys. Because at least I’m still doing this!!! Even though I have so many other things to do! Not that they’re better things to do. They’re just, you know. Things.

Anyway! Day 10′s topic is my favorite candy! Initially I was going to draw Chocnut, but it’s so hard to draw. So I decided, Oh, what the heck, I’ll just draw the easiest possible thing to draw:

Well, they really are my favorite candy, so I’m not just being lazy, I’m also being truthful.

Day 11: Turning Point in Your Life

(Do any of you know what this is?)

Yes, seeing the Symphony of Lights at the Avenue of Stars was the turning point in my life. The moment I saw the lights dancing over the buildings, my eyes widened, I gasped, my heart stopped, and I had an epiphany…

No, not really. I actually want to say that my JTA experience at HK was the turning point in my life, but how do I draw 4 months’ worth of memories in one drawing?

I can’t.

Day 12: Most recent accomplishment

I didn’t know what to draw so I drew a little emo cloud…. :(

Day 13: Comic

I am so proud of this drawing! Wait for it…

Woohoo!!! I even put little labels under their feet so you would know who they’re supposed to be, but honestly, you can so tell.See? In the photo, it’s Onew, Jonghyun, Taemin, Minho, and Key… EXACTLY THE SAME~!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so talented at this. I should seriously consider becoming a drawer.

(P.S. After staring at my drawing for some time, I realized… my drawing-Onew looks a bit like Jungshin from CNBlue!!! I think it’s the hair…)

I should really stop posting pictures of guys on my blog… it might creep some people out…

30-Day Drawing Challenge: Day 9

Favorite TV show… I don’t watch a lot of TV, but I do watch a lot of Korean TV shows on Youtube, and this has to be one of my favorites: We Got Married (우리 결혼했어요)! This show pairs up Korean celebrities as a pretend “married couple” and they have to do things that regular married people do, like live together, take English lessons and donate blood.

What? Those aren’t things that married people do? Really? I had no idea!

This is one of the couples of We Got Married, Ga-in and Jokwon. I just realized… I made a mistake writing Ga-in’s name!!! So now, she’s named “Ga-an”. Sorry.

See you all tomorrow!

Doodle Girl~

One thing I do a lot in class when I’m bored is doodling. It’s the perfect thing to do to pass the time. Why?

  1. You already have a pen and paper.
  2. You look like you’re taking notes.
  3. You’re fully conscious, and so you’re aware of what the teacher is saying.

So the other day I was bored in class, and I got out a piece of scratch paper and started doodling.

Then I thought, hey, since I’ve been editing my drawings for the 30-Day Drawing Challenge anyway, why don’t I trace out this picture?

I tweaked it a little bit, added colors, and voila! A super simple, yet fairly cute doodle girl! Haha! :D

I have yet to learn how to draw hands and eyes and feet, but I like her already! :D

I’m naming her Ellie, the Doodle Girl.

30-Day Drawing Challenge: Day 8

It’s the start of my second week at this! :) Isn’t that fantastic elastic?

Today’s theme is “favorite animated character”. This is, again, very hard for me, because I like ALL animated characters.

So, I just decided to draw the ones that are easy to draw. Haha!

It’s Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls… and…. BLOO! I love this guy. Plus, he’s probably the easiest character to draw in the whole world. Well, actually my drawing isn’t that accurate. And he’s a bit wobbly. But anyway, it doesn’t matter. Haha!

As for Bubbles, I’ve been drawing her since 5th grade, and even if it might not be the best drawing in the world, at least I know how to draw her! :D

My sister just passed by and said: Why is Bloo red?

Haha, very funny, my sister.

So! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s drawing, everyone :) I’m really enjoying this, and I hope you guys are, too!

BTW if you guys missed any of my previous drawing challenges, just click the tag “30-Day Drawing Challenge” and you can see them all! :)

Korean phrase of the day: 막내 (maknae) – this means the “youngest” or “bunso” of a group/family. :)

For example:
Seohyun is SNSD’s maknae,
Kyuhyun is Super Junior’s maknae,
Taeminnie is SHINee’s maknae,
Minzy is 2NE1′s maknae,
Seungri is Big Bang’s maknae,
Chansung is 2PM’s maknae,
Jinwoon is 2AM’s maknae,
Hae Lim (previously Sohee) is Wonder Girls’ maknae,
Krystal is f(x)’s maknae,
I am Team China’s maknae.

Yeah, that’s about it. :)

30-Day Drawing Challenge: Days 6 & 7!

I’m kind of losing track of where I am in this thing… I recently put up my crappy Day 5 drawing of my best friend, and although I promised that I would reupload a better drawing, I still haven’t done it. This is because I HAVE NO FRIENDS.

Just kidding. I mean, you’re my friend, right?

Right?

… *caw! caw!*

Pfffft!!! Fine! Whatever. :(

Anyway. The thing is I don’t have A best friend. I have many best friends. Maybe around 10 or so, and I love them all the same. But I don’t want to draw 10 people!!! Drawing is hard. :(

So let’s pretend I’m done with drawing number 5, and now I’m posting drawing 6 and 7! That means I’ve been doing this for a week, already! Only 3 weeks to go! Woohoo! :D

Day 6: Favorite book!

I don’t have one single favorite book, but I’ve always loved Meg Cabot’s books. I don’t even have a favorite among the Meg Cabot books. I love them all the same, just like how I love all my friends. Awwwww…

Day 7: Favorite movie

For the longest time I’ve always said that my favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. But I haven’t seen it for ages, so now I don’t even remember what it’s about.

So while I was thinking about what to draw for this day, I decided on Penelope, this beautiful fairy tale movie in 2008 about a girl who was cursed with a pig’s nose until a man of nobility falls in love with her. It stars Christina Ricci and James McAvoy, and at one point in time, I liked James McAvoy so much because of this movie. It’s not a very famous movie, so not a lot of people have heard about it, but if you haven’t seen it, go see it! It’s brilliant.

And there you have it, days 6 & 7.

My drawings are so uglehhh! You should hop over to Audrey’s blog and see her drawings. They are just too pretty. And she’s not indecisive about her favorites like me. :3

30 Day Drawing Challenge: Day 5!

Day 5: Draw your best friend!!!!

And since I am such an awezummm artist, I made an animation of my best friend LOLOLOLOL

See how happy he is? :)

Just kidding. Here’s the actual drawing:

JUST KIDDING!!!

I’m sorry. That’s not funny at all. I’ll be sure to upload a REAL and decent drawing of my best friend tomorrow!!!

I miss making stupid obnoxious posts like this haha! It’s totally fun!

BONUS: It is an picture of M&Ms on top of one of my readings from HK. I took this photo during JTA. Ahhh good times.

Trivia: Actually, I was lacking 1 blue M&M so I couldn’t complete the 4×4 design, so I just took the photo like this and pretended there was a blue M&M there. :P

Korean phrase of the day: 완전 대박

30-Day Drawing Challenge! (Days 3 & 4)

I totally suck at this whole 30-day challenge thing. I forgot yesterday’s drawing!!! But let’s all pretend I didn’t because I’m going to post it right now!

Day 3: Favorite food. As if you guys don’t know it yet. Ha! :)

Day 4: Favorite place. Yeah man! Hong Kong, my second home. Sort of. :P

Seriously, this is such an accurate drawing of HK. See, it totally looks like my reference picture.

Aw, I miss HK so much.

On a side note, I’m drawing all these things with the markers I bought from IKEA back in HK! :D They are so awesome. :)

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s daily drawing! At least, that’s if I don’t forget.
